The knife is equipped with a razor-sharp Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel blade, which is anti-corrosive and requires no special maintenance. The handle is crafted from premium quality wood, including beech, hornbeam, walnut, and ash, sourced from ecologically managed French woodlands in the Alpine region and Jura mountains.

The patented Virobloc safety ring, developed in 1955, ensures that the blade remains securely opened or closed. Each knife is stamped with the Crowned Hand emblem, signifying its origin and quality.
